DR Micro Loans

The goal of this program is to loan families a small ($100-$500), short-term loan which will allow them to create their own small, sustainable business. Through a generous seed donation of $3,000 we have already begun to make loans. Selling used clothing, purified water resales, raising crops, and neighborhood restaurants are some of the businesses which have already been initiated. Thus far, there have been no defaults and only one late payment which we see as a green light for expansion.
