Emily April 2022 Update
April has had its highs and lows, but the constant current of God’s faithfulness has kept us afloat. I’ve been trying to savor my last few weeks in the DR with all the special people here before I head home for the summer.
Angel and Angels
We have had several “angels” this month
and we are so grateful for those who love Jesus and show that love by ministering to and caring for the
children and families touched each day by PCA.
Mission House in Las Calderas
Jaime and Jacqueline have been praying for the resources and opportunity to buy a property and build a house.
Sombrero Project/The Pastor’s House
We plan to start by building a house for Pastor Fabian and his family on the same piece of land purchased for the church.
Be Still
Be still my friends. Be still and see the glory of God all around you. Every day we get to see God doing so many wonderful miracles of life all around us. A child learning to read. A family, once despairing, filled with hope.
Emily March 2022 Update
We’ve had lots of opportunities to witness the goodness of God this month, and I’m excited to share some of them in this report! Also, I got to start of the month celebrating my birthday with my Dominican family, which was very special!
March El Salvador Newsletter
In the last newsletter, I described the ambitious Smiling School Kids program developed by Pastor Oswaldo and his team of volunteers. In this newsletter, I want to continue by describing the centerpiece of the pastor’s vision for the future.
Rejoicing Always
We have so much to be thankful for and to rejoice over in the Lord. The school and ministry are strong, and we are getting to make a powerful impact every day.
Emily February 2022 Update
This month, I’ve been focusing a lot on thankfulness, both personally and with the kids in my classes. It is so easy to complain about what we lack or about everything that goes wrong in our lives and in our world, but God tells us to give thanks in ALL circumstances.
I had to be in my Father’s house
Greetings beloved brothers, from the Dominican Republic. My most sincere apologies for not having sent any report before.
New Year, New Mercies
How grateful and blessed we are to begin a new ministry year in Palacaguina. This year begins our 6th to serve and share the love of Christ through education and humanitarian aid to so many children and families.
Emily January 2022 Update
Greetings once again from the Dominican Republic! I enjoyed my time back in the States with family and friends, and I’m excited to return for another semester. I know 2022 will be full of new challenges and adventures, and I
can’t wait to see what God has planned for this new year.

God Things
Some will think I’m just lucky. Others will think it is all just coincidence. I believe otherwise.
